One of my goals this year is to get to 20% body fat by the end of the year, with a smaller goal built in to help me achieve that (get to 25% body fat by March).
I knew this would take a big lifestyle change. I've always been sporty but because of the types of jobs I've had and my back condition, I've only ever worked out 3 - 4 times a week (and nothing too hardcore either!).
To achieve my goal, I knew I had to up the exercise and become very strict with my diet. To help keep my focus, I decided to weigh myself every 2 -3 weeks and keep a fitness.
I thought I would share my first weigh in and fitness journal with you all. Not only does it make me more accountable but hopefully it will inspire others to get fit and healthy.
So here goes...
I must admit that 2016 was a horibble year for goals. In fact, it was just a horrible year.
Without going into too much detail, we (my Fiancee and I) had a lot of personal and family issues that heavily affected our time and drive to work on goals.
Having said that, you can always find good, you just have to look past the bad and appreciate even the smallest peices of good things. I think it's healthy to focus on the positives.....
This is a blog that I've been meaning to write for a while...
I founded Prince Talent in 2014 to aid my recovery from a serious back illness.
With £600 to invest (I bought a laptop, £10 skype credit and a bluetooth headset!), I generated £150k in sales and worked with leading brands in London and Kent.
How did I do this? There was a lot of hard work, LinkedIn and free work involved! But, I wouldn't of had the success I had without the amazing online tools I used on a daily basis.
Today, I want to share those tools with you.
I hope this blogs helps you build something special, whether that's part of a wider business or your very own business.
I've always been told by others that I'm creative...
"No I'm not, I work in sales and I'm sporty!"
I never saw myself as a creative person. I can't design a skyscraper, paint a masterpiece or make a stunning graphic in Indesign.
Today's world is a funny one!
No I don't mean Donald Trump's rise in politics or how AR is beginning to help clinics diagnose and treat patients half way across the globe (although that is pretty amazing!)
I'm talking about how our human biology isn't built for today's world and challenges!
So over the Christmas period, I was lucky enough to spend two great months in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Alot of people asked me why I chose Chiang Mai as a destination and I guess there were lots of reasons in the end...
I'd been researching different places to stay using Nomad List. Nomad list is basically a website where travellers can leave reviews and scores on different locations, you can rate cities on all different things, such as: cost of living, weather, air purity, fun and more.
Think of it as a tripadvisor for travellers!
Chiang Mai was the best rated city in the world to travel. It seemed to cover everything we (my fiancée and I) were looking for; hot, interesting, cheap, good places to work and great food.
Ok, first things first. Sorry I've been away for 3 months! (Where has the time gone?!)
I've been working away on a full time project that entailed a lot of travelling and hours and this made it difficult to find the time to write good, quality content for you guys.
Let's face it, nobody wants trash emailed through to their inbox!
I've decided to broaden the subjects I cover in this blog. As well as recruitment advice & trends, I'll also be covering sales techniques, lifestyle, communication advice, ongoing live projects and general business talk and ideas.
Hi, I'm Chantelle Jones
