4Most content produced today is shit.
Content marketing is one of the best ways to engage with your audience but with so much noise and the speed of the digital landscape, content is getting worse! Your audience have real problems that need solving and they expect your content to solve these problems. What they don't want to read is short shallow content that has been rushed, copied from elsewhere or provides no real value. For me, there are 4 quick fixes you can make today to make better content (by the way, when reading them, don't just think blogs!).

One of my goals this year is to get to 20% body fat by the end of the year, with a smaller goal built in to help me achieve that (get to 25% body fat by March). I knew this would take a big lifestyle change. I've always been sporty but because of the types of jobs I've had and my back condition, I've only ever worked out 3 - 4 times a week (and nothing too hardcore either!). To achieve my goal, I knew I had to up the exercise and become very strict with my diet. To help keep my focus, I decided to weigh myself every 2 -3 weeks and keep a fitness. I thought I would share my first weigh in and fitness journal with you all. Not only does it make me more accountable but hopefully it will inspire others to get fit and healthy. So here goes... I love LinkedIn, I've literally built a sales career from using it!
But I do have one major problem with it...Connection Collectors! I've noticed that there are a lot of Connection Collectors on LinkedIn these days. These are people who want to connect but have no intention to network, talk or share ideas (what's the point then!?!?). I'm connected with (at this current time) 6,384 connections. Here's my first Five Ideas Friday blog for 2017 - go easy on me, my brain is still rusty from Christmas!
I must admit that 2016 was a horibble year for goals. In fact, it was just a horrible year.
Without going into too much detail, we (my Fiancee and I) had a lot of personal and family issues that heavily affected our time and drive to work on goals. Having said that, you can always find good, you just have to look past the bad and appreciate even the smallest peices of good things. I think it's healthy to focus on the positives..... This is a blog that I've been meaning to write for a while...
I founded Prince Talent in 2014 to aid my recovery from a serious back illness. With £600 to invest (I bought a laptop, £10 skype credit and a bluetooth headset!), I generated £150k in sales and worked with leading brands in London and Kent. How did I do this? There was a lot of hard work, LinkedIn and free work involved! But, I wouldn't of had the success I had without the amazing online tools I used on a daily basis. Today, I want to share those tools with you. I hope this blogs helps you build something special, whether that's part of a wider business or your very own business. It's that time of week again (I'm sure the weeks get faster as you get older!). Here are my ideas and thoughts for the week....
With series 2 of Humans well under way on Channel 4 (if you haven’t seen it, you need to!), I wanted to look at their integrated approach Channel 4 took to market the sci-fi based programme for series one.
To begin, you should probably know that Humans is a TV show about AI machines living and serving in today’s world. These machines are created by a fictional AI manufacturer called Persona Synthetics. What was so unique about this campaign was that Channel 4 advertised Persona Synthetics as a real brand and business, not Humans, a TV show. I've always been told by others that I'm creative...
"No I'm not, I work in sales and I'm sporty!" I never saw myself as a creative person. I can't design a skyscraper, paint a masterpiece or make a stunning graphic in Indesign. One of the golden rules in business, is to be the first in something. Everybody remembers who was first, think Hertz, Fred Perry and Microsoft. However, this isn't always possible...
